A test that involves a CT scan and a PET test to diagnose cancerous tumors, but it also has other uses.

PET testing – A radioactive substance is injected into the subject (e.g., radioactive sugar called FDG) and enters tissues with high sugar intake. Cancerous tumors consume the radioactive material.
