An imaging test in which a radioactive marker (Tracer) is injected into the vein to diagnose various types of bone disease or bone tumor presence. The marking material is absorbed especially in areas where there is a great deal of bone dissociation or bone building. The radiation emitted from the radioactive material is absorbed by the camera that the technician transfers over the body. The amount of radiation accumulated in the skeletal bones is reflected in the picture.
