In mid-2016, I established “Trial-In Pharma” out of a desire to make advanced treatments and drugs from the forefront of science accessible to cancer patients—treatments that may extend their lives and improve their quality of life more than any standard protocol.

In 2010, I lost my mother to Triple Negative breast cancer, following a stubborn battle that lasted 4 hard years. During that period of accompanying her, I was unaware of the medical system’s limitations, even though I worked in the field. We were not referred to check for clinical trials or compassionate use drugs, nor were we offered any treatment beyond the standard protocols, which consisted mainly of classic chemotherapy with efficacy far from meeting expectations and fraught with terrible side effects.
There was no place for hope that perhaps there was a treatment or drug for my mother’s cancer that could extend her life, improve her quality of life, and increase the chance of therapeutic success.
