Lymph Node

Lymph nodes are part of the lymphatic system which is made up of glands and tubes. Fluid from tissues in the body reaches the lymph nodes that filter and clean it. The lymph nodes also contain lymphocytes (mostly B cells and T cells) that reach the body’s various tissues when needed, for example, local tissue inflammation. Lymph nodes are located in the neck, armpit, chest, abdomen, and groin. Cancer can spread through the lymphatic system
