Founded "Trial-In Pharma" with a mission to make advanced treatments accessible to cancer patients, driven by deep personal experience accompanying his mother in her fight against the disease.

Nir Erez

CEO & Founder

Nir Erez is a Chemical Engineer with a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and holds a diploma in Clinical Research Management (CRA). He joined the pharmaceutical giant "Roche Pharmaceuticals" in 2003 and served until 2013 in various roles within the oncology field, where he gained deep knowledge of breakthrough cancer drugs and international protocols.

In 2013, he became independent and established "Trial-In" as a CRO. In 2016, he founded "Trial-In Pharma" with the desire to make compassionate treatments and clinical trials accessible to stage 4 cancer patients and those with brain tumors, to extend lives and improve their quality of life.

Personal Story: In 2006, Nir lost his mother after a stubborn and difficult 4-year battle with cancer. Despite working in the field, he was unaware of the limitations of the health system and that oncologists did not offer advanced trials, even though the success rate of the standard protocol was very low (1-2%). Two years after her passing, Nir discovered a study that could have suited her with a 30% success rate and few side effects – a painful missed opportunity that drove him to action.

Nir combined his professional knowledge and personal experience to establish a company that leaves no stone unturned for patients and their families, ensuring they are not left with a sense of missed opportunity. Today, Nir is a sought-after lecturer and frequently interviewed in the field of oncological innovation.

Holds an MSc in Life Sciences and an MBA. Brings rich experience in marketing management at global pharma companies like Teva and AstraZeneca. Leads exposure and collaborations for the benefit of patients.

Iris Tamir holds a Master's degree in Life Sciences and Business Administration. Between 1996-2018, she worked in marketing and sales management at leading global pharmaceutical companies (Teva, AstraZeneca, Bayer) and managed diverse medical fields. In 2012, she launched a first-of-its-kind app for inhaler usage guidance.

Personal Vision: "The analogy that moves me most is the story of the 'Heart of Gold Flower'... Just like the child who wants to heal his sick mother with a distant flower, a clinical trial can be the 'Heart of Gold Flower' for a cancer patient. I am here to raise awareness of clinical trials and tell of their benefits."

Today, Iris leads business development and marketing at the company, significantly increasing exposure and collaborations with patient associations and medical entities.

Einav Bar is a certified Clinical Research Manager and holds a Master's degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from the University of Haifa. She gained extensive experience as a clinical research coordinator in the Hematology Department at Ichilov and as a research assistant at Johnson & Johnson.

During 15 years of activity in biotechnological R&D, Einav led projects in synthetic biology and CRISPR which were presented to MIT and won a prestigious award for innovation.

She brings a unique combination of scientific expertise, creativity, and deep commitment to promoting high-quality, patient-centered medical research.
