The US National Cancer Institute (NCI), the NCCN, and ASCO emphasize that the best management for any cancer patient is in a clinical trial. Unequivocally. There, the chance to extend life significantly exceeds the chance with standard treatment. This is the progress in cancer medicine, and it is here and now:
The vision of Erez and Trial-In Pharma is to break the boundaries and treat stage IV cancer patients – metastatic cancer or aggressive brain tumors that do not metastasize.
Trial-In Pharma is a medical company in the cancer field and the only one performing a unique, personalized search that reveals innovative and breakthrough oncological drugs and treatments, and subsequently accompanies these patients. We deal with cases of metastatic cancer, rare or aggressive cancer, or brain tumor patients.
Trial-In Pharma was founded in mid-2016 by Nir Erez, the company’s CEO, following an oncology publication he encountered presenting impressive interim results from a clinical trial with a new drug. Had he known about it and the trial in time, he would have acted to enroll his mother, while she was still alive. In the health system, doctors did not know about the trial and the drug. The trial took place in other countries in Europe and the USA.
With this understanding, Erez established Trial-In Pharma with the goal that cancer patients receive tomorrow’s treatments today—treatments currently available only within clinical trials or drugs in R&D, but which in the future, within a few years, will become the accepted standard of care as they prove to be more effective and no less safe than today’s treatments. With approximately 20,000 cancer clinical trials open for recruitment worldwide, this involves a vast number of treatment options that must be filtered and personalized for every single patient.
